Great location, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere. Loved the rooftop terrace and the free daily manager's reception. The poolside bar and free continental breakfast were a nice touch.
No pets allowed - guess I'll have to leave my unicorn at home next time.

The hostel had a charming and cozy ambiance, perfect for a senior woman like myself. The decorations were tasteful and created a welcoming atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize. Additionally, the hostel was conveniently accessible for seniors, with easy walking distances to nearby attractions and the riverfront.
I would have appreciated more accessibility features for senior guests. It would have been helpful to have handrails in the bathrooms and a seating area in the shower for added convenience and safety.

I stayed at this hostel and had a great time exploring the town and enjoying the activities recommended by the staff. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the main road and close to the historical center. The breakfast was delicious and the courtyard was cute. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hostel.

I somehow managed to survive my stay at this hostel. The staff didn't eat me alive and the breakfast didn't poison me.
I had to endure the horror of sharing a room with noisy backpackers and being forced to make conversation. Oh, the horror!

The hostel had a great location, with easy access to both the city center and the beach. The common area overlooking the river was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the view. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, who were always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.
There were a few aspects of my stay that I didn't enjoy. the hostel was quite busy during my stay, which meant there was often a wait for the bathroom.

With two children in tow, we had a fantastic visit to Paraty thanks to this hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Erik who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even arranged a boat tour for us at a great price. The location was perfect, close to the beaches and the river. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and the hostel provided a comfortable and family-friendly base for our adventures.
My wife says that the shared kitchen outside was pretty dirty, which made it difficult for us to cook meals. However, the hostel offers a delicious breakfast buffet which more than made up for it.

The location was great, just a few minutes from the historical center and close to the beach and river. The courtyard was really cute and a nice place to relax. I also enjoyed the common area and the breakfast was quite good with a nice variety of options.
The cleanliness of the bathroom was a big issue. It was extremely dirty and hadn't been cleaned when I arrived.

Finally found a hostel where everyone speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese! Had a blast exploring the nearby Paraty Bus station and indulging in water adventures. Loved the outdoor pool and the free daily manager's reception. Concierge services available too! No pets allowed, my furry friend would be so disappointed.
Can't think of a single negative thing, everything was just perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, just a 7-minute walk from the bus station and close to the main road and historical center. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Erik went above and beyond to assist me and even arranged a boat ride and Jeep tour at a great price. The receptionist, despite her limited English, was very sweet. The breakfast buffet was delicious and diverse. The hostel also had a beautiful riverfront area to relax in. the cleanliness, facilities, location, breakfast, and staff were all excellent.
Nothing to mention.

We had a fantastic stay at the hostel near Paraty. The location right on the river was perfect, with a beautiful terrace and hammocks to relax in. The common area was spacious and inviting. We loved being able to book a boat tour right from the hostel's deck. The room, although small, was clean and the en-suite shower and toilet were a bonus. They recommended a great local restaurant that we thoroughly enjoyed. The hostel's breakfast buffet was good and included plenty of options. Despite a few small drawbacks, we found the hostel to be good value and overall had a positive experience.

The house is huge and located just steps away from the river, with a fantastic location close to the historical center. The breakfast spread was incredible, offering a diverse and mouthwatering selection. The majority of rooms are private/family rooms, creating a peaceful and quiet atmosphere at night. The staff was extremely accommodating, allowing us to use the lounge area and WiFi before check-in and even arranging a memorable boat trip for us. The cleanliness of the room and facilities was impeccable, making it one of the best hostels we've ever stayed in. The hostel had a great vibe, with a lovely seating area overlooking the river and a well-equipped kitchen where we could socialize with other guests. We also appreciated the availability of chilled water at the water fountain. With clean, en-suite rooms and plenty of amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV, we couldn't have asked for a better location.

I had the privilege of experiencing the multilingual chaos at the reception. The natural beauty surrounding the hostel was a great backdrop for my failed scuba diving attempts. The free manager's reception was the perfect opportunity to bond with other guests, over stale cocktails, of course.
Oh, did I mention the lack of pet-friendly service animals? Such a shame, I couldn't bring my parrot to enjoy the rooftop terrace.

Friendly staff, well-maintained facilities, informative about local activities. Affordable accommodation and street food. Lovely historic village. Beautiful river terrace. Reasonably priced boat tours. Plentiful and tasty breakfast. Helpful in arranging transfers. Big house near the river, close to the main road and historical center. Rich and diverse breakfast. Quiet at night. Nice shared outdoor space. Basic but comfortable bedrooms. Sufficient kitchen.
